More... This is a utility created to transform data between various flat and database formats.

This project included many objectives not strictly related to database import. Data transfer between databases using a standard import/export format is fairly well addressed in most products.

This product will prove most useful in dealing with formats that do not come directly from a database or require cleaning and transformation.

The intial targets addressed pulling data from a post-relational database to create an MS SQL or MY SQL schema.

Web and Intranet Development

MDM has been involved with Web development since 2002. This began with Web Compliant Document Standards covering templates, styles and formatting.

This was followed by basic web sites for MDM and Axion products. Concurrent to this work was the development of templates using a structured directory hierarchy to define marketing material and the web site. This included a tabbed layout and scrollable product image and overview viewer.

The latest round of development included:

Java Free Page technical evaluation.
Java Script Framework and Hand-coded Templates Projects.
OO practices for CSS technical evaluation.
Thumbnail Cascading Menus Project with random effects.
User View Modes Project with UI samples.
Limited design and development of cross-browser helper components.
Specific work on the IE C# BHO.
Development of Verbose Coding Standards for HTML and Javascript.

The next round of development will include:

PHP / MySQL advance search demonstration pages.
User View Mode enhancements.
Finalize design for User View including:
- thick client,
- browser helpers,
- command line and
- view modes.
Implementation of Axion Sites and MDV sites.
Animation interface simplification and clean-up.
Animation and framework optimization.
Animation random effects for other platforms.
User View Modes Project with UI samples.
